An interesting take on the movie for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed The Nice Guys, director Shane Black worked on the original Lethal Weapon movies, Long Kiss Goodnight and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, all fantastic movies with stellar scripts. And this latest project of his continued delivering on the script front for me. Shane Black knows how to write action comedy in my opinion. I thought the comedy here was fantastically done, it was used sparingly and by doing that I found that I was laughing throughout the entire runtime, not just in the opening 30 minutes, say. For me it was one of the better movies I have seen recently in the cinema! 🙂
